 nds-on.\nGulu University is a public university located in Gulu town, 
 350 km north of the capital Kampala. Founded in 2002, the university o
 ffers a variety of programmes including among others Agriculture, Scie
 nce including Computer and ICT studies, Medicine, and Environment, Bus
 iness and Development Studies, Peace and Conflict Resolution, Educatio
 n and Humanities.\nThe Learning Opportunity will cover advanced online
  searching, getting information served via alerts and RSS, collaborati
 ng remotely using wikis and Google Docs, using VoIP, online mapping an
 d social networking. Participants will get a chance to see what others
  have done, get hands-on experience on how to use innovative applicati
 ons, and assess how they could adopt these innovations within the cont
