DESCRIPTION:Dear colleagues and friends,\nFINCA's VP of Knowledge Mana
 gement, Gwen Andreotti, has proposed to establish an MFI working group
  to discuss KM challenges and best practices within the field of micro
 finance. We would like you to join us!\n \nThe charter of the working
  group will be established during the first working group meeting, pla
 nned to be held at some point during the month of August, 2014. FINCA 
 will host and guide the first meeting, with the purpose of establishin
 g a charter. The input of attendees will be solicited and incorporated
  to form the strategic goals of the working group. \n \nFINCA is hap
 py to host these meetings (most likely lunch meetings), but is also ha
 ppy to rotate host\nlocations with other member organizations. We hope
  that the working group meetings will grow to include more interested 
 members over time. FINCA will potentially host guest speakers, and tak
 e whatever steps are needed to ensure that meetings are meaningful and
  productive for everyone involved.\n \nPlease reply (to nicole.styler
 @finca.org) by Friday, Aug 1st with (1) your level of interest and av
 ailability to attend or call in, and (2) your background or current wo
 rk in KM. Also, feel free to send us contact information for other po
 tentially invitees and we will look at adding them to the list.\n \nO
