Al and Balaji will lead a discussion on the relevance of KM to International Development drawing out the key issues. This will be followed by plenary discussion with participants.

Day 2 and 3 shifts the focus from Knowledge Management to Knowledge Networks and the experiences of people and organisations involved in connecting grass-roots communities in knowledge networks.

This session is both an introduction to Communities of Practice and an investigation of the differences between Communities of Practice and Knowledge Networks.

Discussion of recommendations for building of the strengths and outputs of the workshop

We hope to develop this workshop as something of a model that could be repeated a few times. With that in mind we apply the AAR to fine-tune the model.
